Weekend Downs and Ups

We were really looking forward to this weekend. We had tickets to the Guster Concert with the Randall's. We were all set to do dinner, and then the concert. Then we found out the concert was canceled. The drummer has pneumonia. They're not even rescheduling they are just going to refund our money. Good thing we saw them in the Spring. Anyway, we arranged with the Randall's to do dinner and a movie, only for them to cancel because Laura was really sick. In the end Mike and I still went out to dinner and a movie. We figured we had a sitter and we had really been looking forward to it. We tried to see The Prestige but it was sold out, so we saw Man of the Year. It actually pretty good. So, in the end, we still had a nice night out.

Last night Helene and the kids came by. The kids love to play with Gavin and Brynn and love to see baby Daniel.


Andrew was up here working on Sam and Marenda's house (Mike and Helene's cousin). So, Helene had come up later in the afternoon to see the house and take Andrew home. It was just fun to talk to Helene, I don't think I've done that for a while.

Then Steve (Mike's brother) called to see if he could drop Daisy by while he went to work on the phone lines at Sam and Marenda's. Daisy is so cute!!!


With it being Daylight Savings, we let the kids stay up late, in hopes they would sleep in. We had a great time!!!
