Phases?

You know how kids pick up on funny things. Well each of my kids has one right now. Ashton's is just silly. It is the word "Nervous" which he says like "Burbous" (due to his cute baby lisp). Anytime me or Emma makes him mad or annoys him he says "Stop, it makes me burbous." He got it from me. When he's in the tub he likes to play shark and it makes Emma nervous. He puts his head under the water and swims at her. So, I tell him to "Stop, it makes Emma nervous". It's so funny how he's caught on. But it seems everything makes him nervous.

Emma's is a pain to say the least. At nap time or bed time if your not paying enough attention to her (which we usually don't). She'll strip herself. The biggest problem is that if we don't catch it quick enough then she pee's. She went all night one night that way. She stripped herself and then slept all night naked. I've had to wash her sheets 3 times in like the past 5 days. I truly hope this is a phase that she will grow out of soon.


In keeping with Emma's stripping, we went to Thanksgiving Point Gardens on Friday with Amber Sandburg and her boys Calvin and Eric. The kids got to play in the water. So, when Emma got wet, she wanted to take her shirt off. I think she really likes to be naked!


Ashton and Calvin had a good time in the bear caves. They even were brave enough to ride the bear.
