The End of Christmas in St. George

Tuesday after Christmas, Mike and I left the kids in St. George and we went skiing at Brian Head. Unfortunately, the snow wasn't the best. They didn't have tons of it, and what they had was old. We found a lot of rocks - with our ski's.

But it was a nice day and nice for my parents to watch the kids. Cass and Nate took the kids swimming, so the kids had a great time.

We meet the family for dinner that night as we came into town.

Wednesday was the day we left. It was hard to say goodbye after we had had a great, long weekend with the family. We never expected that Mike would have that much time off of work for the holidays. It was unexpected and wonderful.

That afternoon we headed home through the rain. We were hurrying to make it to a family party. Mike's mom's side of the family had a big get together. It was really nice because there are lots of cousins we enjoy seeing.

They had a short program


and had some projects for the kids to do


After Wednesday, Mike's Christmas ended. I still had till the following Tuesday off of work, but Mike had to go back. The good news was that he had the weekend off (he usually has to work on Saturday's). And he had Monday off as well. All in all it was good, what more can I say.
