This fall we put Ashton in flag football. We had him in soccer and then thought we would try flag football. Soccer overlapped football by about a week, but it wasn't bad. The hard part was that they were playing games on Tuesday and Saturday. That was hard with work and with Elina's nap and feeding schedule. But it was fun for Ashton. For the most part he enjoyed it. And he got to have Brayden on his team, so that was fun as well. His team wore black and they were the Raiders. They had a pretty good team. It was 1st and second graders. And I think their team was mostly 1st graders.
Ashton was actually quite good at all of it. He was pretty good at catching the other boys and tearing their flags off. It was funny because lots of times either the chaser or the runner would end up on the ground.
He was pretty good about moving and shaking to avoid the other players when he was carrying the ball. He scored several touch downs and thought he was pretty cool.
He had a fun season.
