Look Who's 2

Okay, I'm going to start trying again to keep up my blog.  We'll see how well it goes.

Ethan turned 2 last Friday.  I can hardly believe that my baby is 2.  It's hard to think that I don't have a baby anymore.  He is getting so big and it is so fun to see his personality start to bloom.  Or, maybe not.  He seems to be impatient and demanding (more like the girls than like Ashton).  He's capable of throwing a good tantrum in hopes of getting his way.  He's also starting to talk a lot, but still has a baby lisp, and has (what we term) Ethan speak.  The things he says may have hints of the correct words, but you have to listen closely.  He says obin for open.  Oh, and we love that he is still this cute little toe head.  His hair is so soft and fine.  We love it.

Grandma and Grandad came over on Thursday night.  Ethan opened presents, and then we had cake and ice cream.

  He liked opening presents

He got cars

 He got a cute Dino cake from Costco - yum

He liked when we sang to him (he's saying cheese!)

 He ate ice cream

And had a few bites of cake

It was a great night.  Happy birthday Ethan, we love you!
