The weekend before Christmas, my parents came to town. We decided several years ago to stop traveling for Christmas. I was too hard to take Christmas with us, and Mike's work schedule didn't really permit it. Like most families, we spend every other year with each side of the family. This year is the year we spend with my side of the family. Two years ago, Cassidy was expecting her first baby, so my parents came up here for Christmas, we were hoping they would this year too. But this year, Cassidy and Nate decided they would travel this one last year to St. George for Christmas. So, this weekend before Christmas we did all the present exchanging with my side of the family since we wouldn't see them for Christmas.
It was nice to see my family and spend some time with them. And my parents spoiled my kids rotten. They had a great Christmas.
