Little Christmas Eve & Christmas Eve

We got to spend Little Christmas Eve in Price this year.  Mike had to work on the 23rd so we got a late start, and we had to get back on Christmas Eve to be with my parents.  So, we spent less than 24 hours in Price, but it was nice to be with family anyway.  But it is fun to participate in the Little Christmas Eve tradition.  I love the yummy food that we usually only splurge on during Christmas time.

The kids always have fun playing with cousins, and we enjoy hanging out with family.

Helene's family didn't come till Christmas Eve, they were sick.  We were lucky, we were in between illnesses right then.  We were all done with the stomach flu and hadn't started the colds.

The dinner spread was great as always

Mike and Logan (Logan is the oldest grandchild)

 Cesily and Elina

Before we headed home on Christmas Eve, we had our Christmas Eve dinner.  It is a family tradition to have table presents.  You know where you are sitting because you have a present there.  The plan was to give the kids pj's then, but Grandma got the older kids some presents.

Elina wasn't happy with her pj's

Until dad stepped in (and tickled a smile out of her)

The girls got earring, and the boys got spoon basketball hoops

We had a nice time with family!

Look at you blogging during this crazy time in your life! I am sorry that your family got sick so much over the holidays, but I am glad that you still got to celebrate some!
